September 28th: Sunday Food Truck Events

Here are your Sunday events…

I’m recovering from yesterday’s Beericana.

Pop Up Sunday at Ornamentea

The market highlighted in Women’s Health 5 Best Up-and-Coming cities for Arts and Culture is always on the 4th Sunday at Ornamentea in Downtown Raleigh.  Chick-N-Que, D’Burritos, and Jay’s Italian Ice will be here to feed your hunger.  The market goes from 12-5pm. Ornamentea is located 509 N. West Street, Raleigh

Trucks From The Market

Durham Central Park “private” rodeo to benefit the Park

Just the other day someone mentioned rodeos are too crazy and they disliked the regular sized portions.  They wanted smaller portions so they could try more food trucks.  My response, have you heard of the Trucks From The Market event this Sunday?  Both Food Trucks and  Fullsteam Brewery will be under the Pavilion for a ticketed event.  The trucks highlighted are: Pie Pushers, Only Burger, Porchetta, CJ’s Street Food, Sympathy for the Deli, the Humble Pig, Chez Moi Bakery, Mama Dukes.  The event is $50, which gets you 17 samples and two beers.  If you like food trucks, the Park, or want a manageable food truck experience, give this one a look.  If you are looking for a spot to hang out, check out Beer Durham around the corner.  Details can be found here.

Integrity Church Food Truck Rodeo

After Integrity Church’s 11am service, there will be a food truck rodeo with KocinA, PHAT Wrapz, and Sweet Traditions.  The church is at 3219 Landmark Street, Greenville.

Live and Local: Bluegrass on Hillsborough Street

This event starts at 2pm by the Bruegger’s Bagels off Logan Court and end at the Raleigh Little Theater Stephenson Amphitheatre at 1opm.  There will be 16 bands and 4 stages with a kids zone and Raleigh Brewing Company Beer Zone.  Jay’ Italian Ice and Jam Ice Cream will be here, too.  Click here more info.

Jamestown Food Truck Fest

The fourth food truck fest organized by Potent Potables in Jamestown looks to be a pretty wild event.  The truck roster stretches from Charlotte (OooWee BBQ) to Durham (Chirba Chirba).  Also, Laura Jane Vincent’s sole music situation (on stage from 12:30-2) and The Tyler Millard band (3-5pm) will perform.  The complete event runs from 12-6pm.

Trucks: The Great Escape Catering, Bandito Burrito, Urban Street Grill, Camel City Grill, Taqueria El Azteca, Marty’s BBQ #2 on Wheels, Truckin’ with Tipsy’z, Wright Up Ur Gallley, Chirba Chirba, OooWee BBQ, The Ice Queen, and D’s Cakes In A Cup.

Located: 115 Main Street, Jamestown
